1. We test before we publish
Every product we score is something we've actually used — in a real home, kitchen or daily routine, for long enough to form a genuine opinion. No review is written from a spec sheet alone.
2. We buy our own units
Wherever possible we purchase products at retail, the same way you do, rather than accepting loaner units hand-picked by brands. We never accept payment or free products in exchange for a positive review.
3. Rankings are independent
No brand or affiliate network can pay to rank higher. Our scores and Best-Of order are decided purely on performance, reliability and value — never on commission. See our Affiliate Disclosure.
4. We re-check over time
Picks get demoted when something better arrives or when long-term reliability slips. Buying guides are revisited regularly so the rankings reflect what we'd buy today, not last year.
5. Corrections
When we get something wrong, we update the page with a clear note explaining what changed and when. Email editor@oliviareviews.com to flag any factual error.
