Jolie's Skin Care makes handmade skincare built around traditional West African ingredients: raw black soap, African exfoliating loofahs, exfoliating gloves and lip brushes.
These are established products with a long history, not invented wellness items. Raw African black soap is made from plantain skins, cocoa pods and palm oil, and it has cleaned skin effectively for a very long time. Buying it from a brand that makes it by hand rather than a mass-manufactured version is a reasonable preference, and the handmade framing here is credible rather than decorative.
The warning that belongs on the front of the page rather than buried: raw black soap is strongly alkaline and genuinely drying, and the African exfoliating net is far more abrasive than a Western loofah. Used daily on facial skin, that combination causes real irritation and a damaged barrier — and people who have only used gentle Western cleansers routinely find this out the hard way. Traditionally these are body products used a few times a week, not a daily face routine. Start with the body, twice a week, and moisturise afterwards.
Used correctly the results are good and the price is modest, which is the appeal — this is effective skincare that costs a fraction of the serum aisle.
One practical note: the site shows an availability message for some countries, so check it ships to you before planning an order.
Worth buying if you understand what these products are and use them accordingly. Approach carefully if your skin is sensitive or you are used to only mild cleansers.
